Susan M. Weingaertner
All in the details
An organizational maven who’s always up for a new challenge, Susan has supported Johndrow Wealth Management since 2015. A warm, welcoming people-person, Susan’s responsibilities range from greeting clients, impeccable paperwork details, and introducing clients to our online portal, Investor360.
Susan launched her career in the financial industry as an accountant at Feldman, Gutterman & Meinberg, a small CPA firm located in New York. Upon relocating to Connecticut, Susan gained further experience at Whittlesey & Hadley, P.C., a mid-sized CPA firm, and then at Travelers Property Casualty Corp. before taking time off to raise her growing family.
Susan’s got the answers
Throughout her career, Susan has overseen and maintained financial records for both corporate and not-for-profit organizations. Her experience in planning and overseeing audits, as well as directing audit staff, lends itself well to her current role, where she is responsible for creating efficiencies and managing workflows, maintaining calendars for the team, and keeping Johndrow Wealth clients informed. Susan proved monumental to the firm’s smooth operations and therefore was promoted after two years to Client Relationship Manager. Susan now heads all client communications and will supervise both our administrative assistants and interns, as well as continuing to coordinate seminars and client events.
Family is the heart of home
In her spare time, Susan can be found exploring new places and museums with her family; leading religious instruction classes at her church; or curled up in a comfy chair with a new book and her pup, Zoey. You can also find her with her husband Joseph at many of their sons' activities, including crew races and jazz band performances. Their son, Jonathan, is pursuing his BA in political science and history at Quinnipiac University. Their youngest son Matthew attends Middletown High School and is a drummer in the high school's marching and jazz bands.
Susan earned her BS degree in Accounting at St. John's University, Jamaica, New York and is Series 6 licensed.
